Overview
A private road safari that covers Kenya from the dry north to the southern plains in a single week. It starts in Samburu National Reserve, where the Ewaso Nyiro River draws elephant, leopard and the northern species found nowhere further south, among them Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and gerenuk.
The route then climbs into the cool forests and moorland of the Aberdare range, a complete change of scene, before descending into the Rift Valley.
Lake Nakuru National Park adds rhino and Rothschild’s giraffe, and the final two nights are in the Masai Mara National Reserve for the big cats and, between July and October, the Great Migration.
