Overview
This eight-day itinerary pairs two very different sides of southern Africa: the acacia-dotted lowveld of the Sabi Sand, a private reserve sharing an unfenced border with Kruger National Park and known for reliable Big Five viewing, and the white sand and turquoise water of Vilanculos on the Mozambican coast.
It begins with three nights at Dulini Leadwood in the Sabi Sand, where suites sit among riverine forest at the meeting of two rivers. Days follow the classic private-reserve rhythm of morning walking safaris with specialist guides, afternoon and evening game drives, sundowners on the riverbank and dinners in the open air.
The second half moves to four nights at Santorini Mozambique in Vilanculos, the mainland gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. A complimentary island excursion with snorkelling in the marine national park is included, alongside private boat charters, diving, sunset dhow cruises and long unstructured days on the beach.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for a private road transfer to Dulini Leadwood in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Three nights in suites set among riverine forest at the confluence of two rivers, with daily game drives and specialist-led walking safaris, sundowners overlooking the river and dinners in the open air.
Transfer back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for the flight to Vilanculos, then a private road transfer to Santorini Mozambique. A final breakfast with ocean views before the transfer to Vilanculos Airport for onward travel.
